I am an Assistant Professor in the Haub School of Environment & Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming. I am interested in how humans and the ecosystems we depend on can thrive in a changing climate. I am also interested in how we educate students so they are prepared to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. I pursue these questions as an educator, a researcher, and a community partner.

Current Opportunities
Climate Action Pod Members
I am currently recruiting two undergraduate and two graduate students for a climate action pod. The climate action pod is a small community of co-learners and co-creators interested in the theme of climate action and dedicating to contributing towards our knowledge of climate action. Students receive mentorship, various professional development opportunities, and a small stipend to contribute towards joint projects. This semester, students will be working on a paper to explore the intersections of climate adaptation and mitigation, as well as developing connections with other entities in Wyoming (based on student interest--can include energy extraction industry, recreation/tourism, agriculture or the state). Students should apply by September 20th. For more information click here. |
